Commissioner Hu Hsiao-Lan of the Department of Finance (DOF) presided over the meeting on March 20, and invited advisors of the financial group of the TCG to give advice on " establishing a mechanism for the evaluation of city-owned properties participating in reconstruction" and " strengthen social care services through Taipei City Secured Small Loans Service". Many invaluable and professional suggestions were given by the advisors and will be taken as a municipal policy reference. 

Commissioner Hu stated that Article 5-1 of Statute for Expediting Reconstruction of Urban Unsafe and Old Buildings was added and promulgated on December 6 ,2023. According to the amendment, the public properties are mandated to participate in the reconstruction plans. To accelerate the reconstruction of unsafe and old buildings in Taipei City, establishing a mechanism for evaluation of city-owned properties participating in reconstruction is urgent. Thus, we had an in-depth discussion on this topic. Furthermore, Taipei City Secured Small Loans Service that is subordinate agency to DOF has launched many measures, including differential interest rates and the Application of Blessing Subsidy in order to enhance public welfare. It still hopes to solicit public opinions to further strengthen social care services in the future. The advisors had heated discussions on the two issues during the meeting.

During the meeting, Commissioner Hu not only promoted the information of the World Masters Games 2025 to the advisors, but also introduced 3 new creations to them. To implement Mayor Chiang, Wan-An vision of a city of "sustainable communion and hope for the capital," The TCG issued amount of NT$ 2.5 billion Social Bond of Sustainable Bonds on January 10, 2024, that has reached three national first. Besides, DOF attracts innovation from society to green and beautify city-owned land. It takes the initiation to proclaim proper target for the public to adopt to match successfully, and to create local characteristics through the cooperation of the government and the public. Furthermore, Taipei City Revenue Service, subordination of DOF, provides online video tax service integrated with general service counters. People can apply for 70 services from home, including 32 cross-county/city tax information inquiries, which was the first initiated and obtained recognition.

DOF stated that the advisors spoke enthusiastically during the meeting and the suggestions will be taken as a municipal policy reference.
