World Masters Games 30% Off Discount Extended till June 17, First-Ever Inclusion of Women’s Baseball as a Sports Category

The World Masters Games 2025 Taipei & New Taipei, which commenced registration on February 17th 2024, has garnered an overwhelming response. As of today (the April 16th), over 10,000 athletes from Taiwan and around the world have registered within this two-month period, with more than 7,000 having completed their payments. In a bid to further incentivize participation and recognizing the groundbreaking addition of women’s baseball for the first time, alongside the increasing visibility and public interest domestically and internationally, the early bird registration discount, initially slated to conclude tomorrow (April 17th), has been extended to June 17th. Throughout this extension period, all registrations will enjoy a 30% discount. All sports enthusiasts are invited to seize this opportunity and register promptly!


The World Masters Games 2025 Taipei & New Taipei is scheduled to take place from May 17th to 30th 2025. Presently, there have been a total of 11,106 registrations from 78 countries and regions, with 7,794 individuals having completed their payments. Notably, participants from countries and regions such as Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, Mongolia, and the United States exhibit the highest levels of enthusiasm among overseas registrants. Domestically, New Taipei City and Taipei City lead in registrations, followed by Taoyuan City, Taichung City, and Kaohsiung City, respectively. Regarding sports categories, athletics, aquatics, canoe, cycling, triathlon, and badminton has emerged as the most popular sports according to registration interest.


In its dedication to advancing "gender equality" within the event, the Executive Committee of the 2025 World Masters Games Taipei & New Taipei has collaborated closely with the International Masters Games Association to establish a groundbreaking initiative: the introduction of a women’s baseball sports for the very first time. This event is inclusive to women aged 35 and above, representing a notable milestone for the World Masters Games. Registration for this event is set to commence at 2:00 p.m. on the 17th. We extend a warm invitation to all female baseball enthusiasts to enthusiastically form teams and take part in this exciting event.


Originally slated to conclude on April 17th, the early bird registration discount for the World Masters Games is being extended due to the inclusion of women’s baseball, ensuring fairness in registration processes, and acknowledging the growing visibility and participation of both domestic and international sports enthusiasts. Sports enthusiasts worldwide have begun organizing their participation and travel arrangements for next year’s event, expressing a desire for an extended discount period. Following assessment by the organizing committee, it has been determined to extend the 30% discount registration offer until June 17th. Individuals aged 30 and above are invited to seize this opportunity and participate in this global sports event.
