How to apply for “Subsidies for the Implementation of Hakka Language Teaching Program in the Taipei City’s Kindergarten Schools”?

1. Application Qualifications: All public and private kindergartens, which have been registered with the competent authorities, and are willing to cooperate with Taipei City Government in its Hakka language promotion policy, and in launching Hakka language and culture-related courses and activities.
2. Application Period: The relevant implementation plan will be announced on the website of the HAC at the beginning of each year, and the contents of the plan will also be sent to the kindergartens in the city. All kindergartens are welcome to apply.
3. Application Method:
(1) Within the application period, applicants may apply through registered mail, in person, appoint someone or online (not the entire process), or send the required documents directly to the HAC without preparing official documents; applicants must submit a properly filled out application form, two copies of the basic information about the kindergarten (for private schools, please attach your registration certificate), class content and schedule, teachers’ qualification and certificates, student list, and plan to the HAC for processing.
(2) The proposal content must include two copies of the project name, objectives, teaching design, and expected benefits. Please use A4 paper in portrait format in making the proposal.
(3) The application form submitted by each unit must specify all expenses involved, the items and amount applied for with our HAC. If the unit has also applied for subsidies with other government agencies or commissioned other similar plans, it must list the organizations it has applied subsidies to or any commissioned projects and amount.
(4) For incomplete application forms, the applicant will be asked to make a one-time revision within the prescribed period; if the applicant fails to make the necessary revisions within the prescribed period, the application shall not be accepted by the HAC.
