The Taipei Arena managed by the DOF of TCG received positive recognition for its 2024 annual operating performance and commitment to quality services
Taipei Arena, which is managed by the Department of Finance (DOF) of the Taipei City Government, has now been entrusted to the Taipei Rapid Transit Corporation (TRTC) for operation and management. To provide citizens with a comfortable and safe venue environment, as well as high-quality and friendly service efficiency, an integrated operation plan titled "Annual Operation, Maintenance, Safety Supervision and Evaluation of the Taipei Arena, Maokong Gondola and Taipei Children's Amusement Park" is implemented. Every year, experts and scholars are invited to conduct on-site assessments and evaluations. The 2024 Taipei Arena operational status inspection and evaluation, convened by Deputy Secretary-General Yu-Fen Wang of the Taipei City Government, was successfully completed on June 16, 2025, by the DOF in conjunction with experts and scholars specializing in operations management, facility maintenance, and safety and security, along with relevant city government agencies. The evaluation committee members gave positive affirmation of Taipei Arena’s operation, maintenance, and service standards of its main venue (multi-purpose stadium/gymnasium), Ice Land, and affiliated commercial facilities, hoping that the venue environment would be actively enhanced in the future to provide diversified and innovative services. Commissioner Hsiao-Lan Hu of the DOF said that Taipei Arena is well known as a multi-purpose venue and a comprehensive facility in Taipei. In the future, the DOF will continue gathering valuable opinions and practical experience from experts and scholars through annual regular inspections and evaluations, making the Taipei Arena the safest and most comfortable leisure venue in Taipei and providing citizens with the highest quality services.
